The team at Vivobarefoot were looking for a campaign to help tell their brand story - the shoe that fits around you. 

The team over at Ourselves had began to build a concept focusing in on OOH's originally due to be posted around London. With covid hitting, the team pivoted to something more video focused. Here is where I was brought in to bring their campaign narrative to life across video. 

Creative Direction

The campaign was built around bold, thought-provoking narrative statements designed to challenge perceptions of the shoes we wear. When referencing other shoes, we used a monochrome palette that allowed their signature colors to stand out subtly within our world. As the story shifted toward how Vivobarefoot could offer a better way forward, the visual language evolved — becoming lighter, more open, and leaning into video content over graphics to create a sense of movement, authenticity, and possibility.

360 Campaign

This campaign came to life as a full 360 execution, spanning multiple touchpointss, from high-impact OOH placements to a central storytelling film, supported by a suite of social cutdowns and paid media assets. Each element worked together to build a cohesive narrative that felt both bold and human.

Following its success, we extended the concept into a kids-focused campaign. While the core narrative and design system remained, we refined the messaging and introduced fresh colorways to better resonate with a younger audience. The result was a distinctly new expression that still felt unmistakably on brand.
